What is BOTOX®?
A natural purified protein produced by Clostridium botulinum bacterium.
Is it dangerous?
No. It is a purified form of the protein and is injected in very small amounts so there is virtually no risk.
How does it work?
It is injected into a muscle to temporarily paralyze the muscle to prevent movement and assist wrinkle reduction. The repeated movement of muscles causes wrinkles so by preventing movement it helps reduce or soften wrinkles.
